My sympathies to Lynn and family. John was a leader and someone we looked up to in our class. I remember seeing him dancing with his wife Lynn at one of our reunions and his hands went down and carassed her butt. One of his fellow football players joked to me "he always had great hands"!!! That was John... just fun and his fun was infectious. Rest in Peace my ''74 classmate. Gone much too soon!!!
Dave Jarvis was one of the quiet ones who grew up to be a giant of a man. From his service in the Army to his law enforcement career, he excelled. He led many veteran and community organizations and was a wonderful family man and friend to many. His obituary was necessarily long because of all the good he did. Proud to call him a classmate and friend. RIP Dave. My sympathy to all his family and friends.
Rosemarie and family: so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. Very happy you had a very loving relationship with her. May she rest in peace and may the good memories of all the special times you had with her ease the pain and lift your hearts. With sympathy for the passing of Avis.
Sorry to read of Ken's passing. Last saw him at a reunion with his lovely Diana about 10 years ago. Attended Eastlake Jr High and North with him and he was always his own man. The job listings and successes in his life come as no surprise as he always seemed to know where he wanted to go. He joined the army after graduation and it's good to see the fullness of his life and the love his family had for him. A full but shortened life. Sympathies to his family and to our class as we lose another classmate and friend.
Joe had his hands in so many things and touched a lot of lives because of it. A life well lived and a member of the class of '74 of whom we all could be proud. Rest In Peace Joe and know you will missed.
Michael.... you were indeed lucky to have a friend like Todd. So glad your paths through life were parellel and often merged into one. We'd all love a friendship like the one you and Todd had. I didn't know you in high school but through Todd's writing I know I would have loved being your friend. Rest In Peace and when we get to that class of '74 reunion in the sky, be sure to introduce yourself!!! I know it'd be a pleasure knowing you. Todd.... great writing and sorry for your loss of your good friend.
Loved by friends and especially family. Together again. May you both Rest In Peace.
Congrats Ron on a life well lived and a life well loved. Sympathies to your family and friends. You represented the Class of 1974 well. Rest In Peace my friend.
So sorry to read of Mary's passing. May your beautiful smile light up the heavens as those you left behind remember the good times and the love you had for each other. The class of '74 has lost a beautiful soul and person. Sympathies to Mary's family. May she Rest In Peace.
My sympathies to the entire McIntire family. Ed... you and your brothers had a great dad!!! I had the privilege of escorting Vic to Washington DC with Honor Flight to visit the WW2 memorial. Got to know him and Jackie and always enjoyed our visits. Saw Vic and Jackie just last week at Salida Home in Mentor and he and Jackie were doing well with Vic discussing past players and war time experiences with the Seabees. He was an excellent artist and sent Christmas cards made from his paintings. He collected bricks and had an amazing collection and was written up in a brick collectors magazine. And after retirement he volunteered in elementary schools helping youngsters improve their reading. Vic was so much more than a football coach, but first and foremost he was a family man. Rest In Peace my friend.
Connie was a great North '74 classmate and marching band member. After high school we car pooled to Lakeland and had some of the best discussions and conversations about life, goals and dreams. Last saw her at her family's pizza business on Rt 615 and then at an impromptu get together a couple years later. Always had a smile for me and a kind word. One of those high school friends who when her name is mentioned, I always had a smile because of her kindness. Sympathies to her family. RIP my friend.
