It's so hard to write this. I don't even know where to begin. Joe was not only a friend, he was family. As everyone has said, he was kindhearted, smart and so much fun. So many memories come flooding back, but my very favorite one was our first year at Kent State...we had a blast!! Joe made friends wherever he went and many lasted a lifetime. If you were his friend, you knew he always had your back. Joe and the entire Ertter family shared a very close bond with my mom. She loved them dearly and I always appreciated how good they were to her. Joe will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was truly one of a kind! Dennis and I send our deepest condolences to the Ertter family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them at this very sad time.
