I stayed in this area my entire life, so did my brother Doug. My other brothers moved away, Dave, to Columbus, Mike, to Kent, and super star Tom, to Nashville. I'VE ADDED SOME NEW TEXT TO MY PROFILE, AND I'VE ADDED SOME NEW PICTURES. FOR ALL ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ALUMNI, I'VE ADDED A PICTURE I THINK YOU WILL ENJOY! LORI FENDE AND I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF HAVING CHRISTMAS LUNCH WITH MRS. HAGSTRAND AND MRS. HINKLE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THESE LADIES ARE A TRUE BLESSING! MY ENTIRE FAMILY, INCLUDING THE DE NOVA COUSINS, HAD MRS. HAGSTRAND FOR FOURTH GRADE, AND SOME OF US HAD MRS. HINKLE. WE HAD A BACKYARD PARTY AT MOM'S TWO YEARS AGO, AND WE INVITED THE TEACHERS. THEY WERE THE STARS OF THE SHOW! NO ONE ELSE HAD SEEM THEM IN AGES, AND IT WAS SUCH A BLESSING TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THEM THERE. THEY KEEP TRYING TO GET US TO CALL THEM BY THEIR FIRST NAMES, BUT THERE'S NO WAY!!! THEY'LL ALWAYS BE MRS. HAGSTRAND AND MRS. HINKLE TO ME!

ALSO, I'VE MENTIONED MY BROTHER TOM, THE NASHVILLE STUDIO MUSICIAN. I WANTED TO ADD THAT HE'S JUST WON THE ACM AWARD FOR THIS YEAR'S BEST GUITARIST. HEY, I KNEW HE WAS GREAT, IT'S ABOUT TIME THE REST OF THE WORLD KNOWS TOO! HE IS AN AMAZING MUSICIAN. THE SHOW WILL BE AIRED ON APRIL 5, 2009, BUT TOM WON'T BE SHOWN BECAUSE IT'S AN OFF CAMERA AWARD. BUMMER. HE'S DATING SARAH BUXTON, AND SHE IS NOMINATED FOR BEST NEW FEMALE VOCALIST. SHE SHOULD BE SHOWN. I HOPE SHE WINS! Update on Tom for all you fans. You know the new Joe Vitale book, Backstage Pass? Joe's written a page about Tom. It's pretty cool. Check it out if you can.

MY BROTHER DOUG IS ALSO IN A BAND. HE'S IN THE PRAISE BAND AT HIS CHURCH, THEN HE'S IN ANOTHER BAND CALLED OUTTA NOWHERE THAT PLAYS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS LOCALLY. IF YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY, GO SEE THEM! THEY PLAY ALL OLDIES THAT WE GREW UP WITH. YOU CAN SING ALONG AND DANCE WITH THE OTHER OUTTA NOWHERE FANS. SERIOUSLY, GOING TO HEAR THEM PLAY IS SIMILAR TO A CLASS REUNION BECAUSE SO MANY OF CLASSMATES FROM HIS GRADE (1973) AND OURS ARE FANS. THIS IS IT FOR THE NEW TEXT, SCROLL DOWN FOR THE PICTURES! Dave Barr and I were married in 1989, after "living together" for ten years. He was my junior high school crush! We own Barr Bros. Construction in Eastlake, building new houses and doing remodeling work. I help in the office. We built a home in Willoughby Hills in 1998.

We go to Willoughby Hills Friends Church and see several other classmates there. God is good!

Dave plays racquetball at the Y and runs into alot of classmates too, even though he's a year younger!

My dogs are my babies, I'm one of those crazy nuts that look at dogs as kids. They bring me alot of joy.

My Mom is still alive and doing great. She still lives in the house we grew up in in Willowick, and my Uncle Angelo and cousin Marty (cousin Maria De Nova's Dad and brother) still live next door to Mom.

I remember having a total BLAST in COE at the Tech Center. My partner in crime was Michelle Miducki, and boy, how we laugh at some of the things we remember. Poor Mr. Linard! Remember working in that little store at the Tech Center? I distinctly remember the popcorn.
